Shipping, Refunds and Returns

For any yoga products /accessories ordered online standard shipping is serviced with PBT.

North Island orders should arrive 2-3 days after placing your order. South Island orders should arrive 3-4 days after placing your order.

Rural shipping is passed on to a third party provider. For this reason, we encourage you use a non-rural address as this gives us more control over tracking your order. Please give an additional 1 day for rural deliveries based off standard shipping times.

International orders: orders to Australia will be $35. We do not offer shipping outside New Zealand and Australia.

NZ orders return policy

To apply for an exchange or refund, please email hello@thematcollective.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your order. Products must be returned and receipted at The Mat Collective within 14 days of receiving your order.

Item(s) must be in original condition, unworn, unused, unsoiled, with tags and in original packaging.

It is the customers responsibility to pay for postage back to The Mat Collective. We highly encourage you to use tracked courier. The Mat Collective cannot be held liable for any items lost in transit. It is the customers responsibility to track their item until it’s received by The Mat Collective. They can not offer refunds or exchanges on anything that is not received by them.

In the event of a product exchange, the customer may be charged for the postage of the new item being sent out.

Please include a copy of your original invoice with your return for an efficient exchange or refund.

Refunds can only be credited back to the credit card or stripe account that was used during the original transaction. Refunds are processed as soon as the returns have been received.

Refunds are given on full priced items only and exclude any shipping charges incurred by the customer on the original order or the return.


International orders return policy

The Mat Collective does not cover international shipping costs on exchanges of change of mind, only faulty products.

We suggest indicating on the package label that the items are intended ‘for exchange or refund’. Without such notice, the package is at risk of attracting additional customs duties and taxes charged to the customer.

There are no refunds issued for ‘Balance Your Life’ online trainings / Ebooks.


                                          Retreat / Workshops Refunds

Refund policy

A 100% refund will be given if a retreat is cancelled due to COVID-19 or unforseen circumstances such as a natural disaster. For retreats in the Cook Islands attendees will be updated with the Cook Islands travel criteria but you may also check for an update anytime here https://cookislands.travel/entry. If unforseen circumstances prevent you from participating in a workshop or retreat and provided there is someone on the waiting list, you may gift your place to this a friend otherwise a 50% refund will be honoured up until the specified cut off date, less $500 admin fees.  Once your refund letter is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@tasteofom.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping Returns

To return any yoga product/mat from The Mat Collective, please forward your return to: 44 Kane Road , Papamoa Beach, Papamoa 3118.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
